Holden Days 2010 to Be Held Saturday, August 28

The Holden Area Chamber of Commerce invites individuals, community businesses, clubs and organizations to participate in this year’s Holden Days on Saturday, August 28 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  In existence for over 30 years, this annual event runs up and down Holden’s Main Street and promises fun activities for the entire family and promotional opportunities for area businesses and organizations. A sampling of this year’s activities include: free musical performances by renowned bands Blind Tiger Swing Posse and Wildest Dreams; a food court and Marketplace business booths at the Damon House; a Craft Corner and Art Lot showcasing local talent; a yard sale at the First Congregational Church; and the annual Friends of Gale Free Library book sale.  In addition, a Kids’ Court will feature the Roaming Railroad, face painting, moonwalks, games and contests.   For more information please contact the Chamber office at 508-829-9220 or email: info@holdenareachamber.org.
